Let’s try again: http://blogs.weightwatchen.com/kyree90
Though I haven’t lost all that much weight, I’ve started to tone up a lot … and I’ve grown to quite enjoy the blogging thing. I like it so much that I’ve started up a blog at weightwatchen.com. If you want to keep up with my weight-loss adventure, here’s the link:
My new goal? To reach my WW goal of 160 by the time my niece or nephew is born in November. It’ll be a challenge, but I think it can be done, especially now that I’ve just started a Couch to 5k training program.
I am actually sad that this competition is over. Thanks for all that put this fine competition on and congrats to all, especially the winners. I hope that this is just a starting step for all of us. I for one was in last years competion and have no intentions of returning next year. I have worked to hard to get the weight off and become more healthy to let myself put that weight back on. Hope to see you all in the gym and good luck, keep up the hard but rewarding work. Craig

Congratulations to the Lose To Win participants. In my book we are all winners. I weighed in this morning and while I was short 3 lbs of my personal goal, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that I lost the needed weight and will continue participating in eating healthy and regular exercise.
Thank you to the Daily Sun and Summit Health Center staff for the lectures, support, and weekly encouragement. A special thank you to Leslie Schallert, aerobics instuctor. I participated in her classes twice a week and she gave me special encouragement as I worked at getting my body back into shape. I am off to a good start and setting new goals!
I look forward to seeing everyone this Saturday. It’s a good life! Mary
The last meeting will be at 11:30 a.m., not 10 a.m. That’s the new word from Vicki.
See you there!
Vicki asked me to pass along this message: There’ll be a end-of-the-program get-together at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Summit.
Among items on the agenda: final measurements for those who haven’t already had them taken, and a group photo. Wear your T-shirt!
Winners will be announced at that time, and prizes handed out.
I slept through my alarm this morning and didn’t get up until 11 a.m. The bad news is this meant I didn’t have time to get to the gym for a workout.
The good news is it meant I actually had some Points left over at the end of the day. I HAD to have a snack when I got home from work. (Usually I want a little something but shouldn’t have it because all my Points are gone. Tonight, I’d only had 24 1/2 of my 28 Points, so I had a homemade quesadilla with a glass of skim milk with sugar-free chocolate syrup.)
Since I didn’t go to the gym for a workout, I almost forgot to weigh in today. Luckily, Linda P. called me to ask how I’d done … and that reminded me to go weigh. The bad news there is that since it was several hours later than I normally weigh in, the scale didn’t budge. Still 214. Since I won’t be losing 19 pounds in a week, I won’t be reaching the goal I set at the beginning of the program.
Oh well. I have a new goal to shoot for now! ![]()
